Loved the look, color, and feel. The downside is the pulling that was already on the blanket when opening.This blanket is so very soft, lightweight, cozy & plenty warm! I have moved to a warmer climate and wanted something other than all the fleece blankets I have. These are perfect!I love it! It’s amazing quality for the price! I’m using it as a throw over my Vera Wang duvet and it doesn’t cheapen the design. So far it washes great too. I wash it every couple days because my dogs lay on it. The texture has a unique soft waffle design. It’s just perfect!I love this Derf HOME Waffle Cotton Blanket 100% Cotton Blanket. It looks great on the bed, especially in combination with a duvet. I wash it on delicate and then dry it on delicate. I take it out of the dryer before it is completely dry and hang it up. At first, there was a kind of chemical smell but it dissipated after the second washing. It is a light weight blanket but very forgiving if you have a wrinkle in your sheets. It is great for a cool summer night and in the winter, the egg crate shapes in the blanket capture and hold in heat. It is very well made and had no loose threads but it will pull easily. Made in China oh, but no reference on the blanket itself as for bamboo.Opening the bag, there was a slight chemical type Cent In the fabric. it wasn't extremely a turn-off, but I advise you to wash this before use, as with any type of clothing. The thick edges of the blanket are hemmed well on all four sides, giving you a definite edge to the blanket and making it much less likely to fray or come apart. The ‘waffles’ are pronounced and should trap air well to keep you warm. I’m wondering how well the waffle holds up, so we’ll see how it looks after washing. We're throwing this in the washer by itself, just give it a good clean and make sure it doesn't affect any other clothing. The instructions on the ad state that you should wash this using the gentle cycle, but knowing the way I do close oh, I know I'll forget next time and wash it on regular so we're washing it on the regular automatic wash setting and then tossing it in the dryer afterward.I’ve been using the blanket to sleep with for a few days, and I feel it’s a good summer weight/light style of a blanket. The blanket is made from 100% cotton, which is good for our skin – no polyester, please. The blanket has a waffle weave, which I like and it is light and soft. This is a good blanket for cool spring, summer, and fall nights, but it will work anytime.I do like the looks of this blanket but it isn't soft and it's pretty heavy. I've given it to my dog to use in her bed.This throw works best when you need a thin, lightweight cover. The 100% cotton material is a soft waffle weave. Measuring 50 x 60 inches, the throw is appropriate for a couch or chair. It’s attractive and easy to care for, being machine washable. It does have a loose weave, meaning care should be taken not to snag the threads.
