These head covers fit well and feel like they won't slip off. There is a piece of velcro sewn in the opening that allows you to secure them on the club head. The problem I have is that my clubs are numbered on the toe of the club so they don't show through the window. I ended up putting these on a spare set that I have and writing numbers on them with a marker. If your irons are numbered in the middle of the sole you should be able to see them. I still like them on my spare set so that the clubs don't clink around while carrying them. Both of my sets are oversized cavity back. The spare set is about 15 years old and the other was just bought this year. Like I said the covers fit fine (snug but fine) on both sets, but the numbers on the toes of the clubs didn't show through the clear windows so I had to write some on with a marker.
