Didn’t curl my hair at all- even on the highest heat setting. It got hot but just didn’t do anything to my hair. Also I’m pretty sure I received a used one, as it had scratches and marks on the barrel and handle.I really like this wave crimper and the size of the barrels. I actually have another wave crimper, but it has the smaller 1in barrels. I like this better because it has the bigger barrels and in my opinion, makes nicer waves than the other. I also like the bronze color of this better too. My other is metallic pink. I don’t like that this has only 2 heat temperatures. My other had an lcd screen and you can choose the temp and it even locked the temp too, in case you accidentally pressed a button, which I wish this crimper had that feature. The only other thing I didn’t like about this was that it had a non polarized plug with no holes. I’m not used to seeing a plug like that, so it’s kind of weird. Even though this crimper doesn’t have a neat temperature feature like my other crimper, or have a regular looking polarized plug, it’s still a nice hair tool to have. Sometimes I prefer using this over curling my hair with a regular curler. Also, this can be a bit heavy and I have long hair too, so it can get tiring towards the end of doing all my hair. This makes my hair looking cute, so I’ll continue to use it.
