This is less a review than a short tutorial on how not to screw up your tshirt.1. Pre-wash if you want, do not use dryer sheets as this will prevent the adhesive from sticking properly.2. DO NOT USE AN IRONING BOARD - use a folded towel on a hard surface instead (or even better, a heat press mat).3. Iron temp should be appropriate for your material, no steam. I ended up using a heat press at 145C.4. Iron where the vinyl transfer is going on your fabric so all the moisture and wrinkles are gone, about 5 sec.5. Press on the vinyl transfer firmly for the recommended time, use parchment paper between the iron/heat press and your shirt to prevent "toasting". My heat press took 15 sec, an iron will take maybe double the time.6. Flip the shirt over and press for another 10-15 sec, this will make the vinyl really stick to the shirt and last longer through washes (always wash inside out).7. Let it cool until you are able to touch it without burning yourself, then carefully peel off the clear plastic layer. There may be some adhesive around the edges that make it a bit tricky to get it started, but the rest of the design should peel away smoothly. Start at the bigger solid pieces and peel towards the tiny intricate details - use scissors to cut the plastic into smaller manageable portions as you go if needed.8. If the plastic doesn't easily peel away, iron/heat press for a few seconds more until it does. You shouldn't press it for too long or the glitter/vinyl layer will melt and the colors will be faded. If your surface isn't firm enough you end up with wrinkles and the vinyl not sticking firmly to the shirt. See my fail pics at the end for examples.Once I really committed to doing it properly, these transfers worked fantastically and look great!
