I brought this flatiron because my mother in law has it and I loved it. But when I received mines the lock on it doesn't work which is very disappointing that's one of the reasons I brought it. Didn't return it because I don't have time to go drop out off.This works good for usual use. I wish it had a controlled heat setting.It is lightweight, gets hot quickly. I have thin hair straight hair so a curling iron actually styles my hair better. Nothing against this flat iron, though.This is a great flat iron!
