Le Creuset 5.25qt Enameled Cast Iron Round Dutch Oven - Deep Teal | Signature Series | Perfect for Braising, Baking & Slow Cooking

When I started switching to enameled cookware, I didn't want to spend the money of what Le Creuset costs. I bought a smaller more affordable Le Creuset pot and tried that. What I noticed is that it never chipped. The enamel never wore off. It never rusts. It looks new though maybe tinted on the inside a little.I also bought a couple enameled Dutch ovens that I gave 5 star reviews. My 5 quart Dutch oven that was used at least once a week during the winter, I noticed was starting to rust. It was less expensive but still expensive enough that I felt that it shouldn't be rusting. Also during the same time period, I bought an enameled cast iron pan. The enamel worked great, but the colored coating was chipping off.During the last Prime Day sale, I was able to purchase this piece. I am so happy I did. It is beautiful. I wasn't sure if I needed the smaller 4.5 qt or the 5.5 quart. I went with the 5.5 quart. This piece is taller than my Dutch oven that I am replacing. It feels slightly lighter but it feels stronger. I have cooked in it a few times and it cooks beautifully. Heats beautifully.5 stars:I ended up replacing my $100 Dutch oven with this in the end. It is not really a savings when the piece needs replaced after a year.
