I always think that Iron Man stories are difficult to write. Sort of like Black Beauty, Call of the Wild, Space Odyssey 2010 etc. It is the transmutation of human viewpoints onto alien entities that is awkward. So although Iron Man is Tony Stark and it his human viewpoint that is projected in the stories, the writing combined with the visual aspects of the comic with a view from inside the helmet, HUDs, computer logic and language etc is a very difficult balancing act. However, this comic succeeds here by altering human viewpoint towards the alien viewpoint, when Tony attempts far too much in trying to force a closer interface with the robotic world and the alien perspective triumphs. So there is a real world and there is a virtual world co-existing in this comic. The artwork helps to create that menacing aura.
